Amsterdam Record Convention

Amsterdam Record Convention collects information from its customers and visitors. This enables us to communicate efficiently and creatively with our customers and to start campaigns. We think it is of great importance that personal data is handled with care. Personal data are therefore carefully processed and secured by us. We adhere to the requirements of the privacy legislation.

Privacy policy:

  • Our privacy policy now explains more clearly what information we collect, how we use it and how it protects data.
  • We never rent or sell this data, this is unchanged, but the new policy provides more information about data that we do share and how we secure data transfer across borders.
  • We also indicate when we need specific approval to process the data and when we use another legal basis for processing the data.

That means that we:

Provision to third parties

We never pass on the information you provide to third parties. Furthermore, we will not provide the information you provide to other parties, unless this is legally required or permitted. For example, it is possible that the police may request information from us in the context of an investigation, in which case we are legally obliged to provide this information.

Secure and store

We take appropriate security measures to limit abuse of and unauthorized access to personal data. In this way we ensure that only the necessary persons have access to the data, that access to the data is protected and that our security measures are checked regularly. We do not store the data longer than necessary. This means that we keep the data as long as necessary to deliver the service you have requested. With the exception of this, the data that we have to keep longer because the law obliges us to do so.

This statement does not apply to websites of third parties that are connected to our website by means of links. We cannot guarantee that these websites handle personal data in a reliable or secure manner. Always read the privacy statement of this website before using the relevant website, for more information about how they handle personal data.

Changes to this privacy statement

We may change this privacy statement from time to time. Changes will be published on our website. We never use your personal data without permission for other purposes. It is therefore advisable to consult this privacy statement regularly, so that you are aware of these changes. To prevent misuse, we ask you to adequately identify a written request for access by sending a copy of a valid proof of identity. Do not forget to protect your BSN and passport photo on the copy.

For this and other reasons, the name Amsterdam Record Convention, Recordplanet, Mega Record & CD Fair, Mega Record & CD Fair, the logos and all associated names, logos, product and service names, designs and slogans are all trademarks of Amsterdam Record Convention. You may not use these names without prior written permission from Amsterdam Record Convention.

Authority Personal Data

Of course we will gladly help you further if you have complaints about the processing of personal data. Should you nevertheless not come out with us, then you also have the right under the privacy legislation to file a complaint with the privacy regulator, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. You can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority for this.

The privacy policy and the conditions of use have been translated into English on the basis of the original text in Dutch. If a conflict arises on the basis of this policy, then the Dutch version of the text takes precedence.
