Bettie Serveert Live & Interview (Sat 11 April) – Record Planet Music Zone
Hosted by Jan Douwe Kroeske (2 Meter Sessions)

One of the most influential names in Dutch indie rock is coming to the Record Planet Music Zone. On Saturday 11 April, Bettie Serveert joins us for an intimate interview and live performance, hosted by Jan Douwe Kroeske (2 Meter Sessions) followed by a signing session.

Formed in Amsterdam in 1990, Bettie Serveert became a standout force in the 1990s alternative scene with their jangly, melodic, guitar-driven sound and the unmistakable voice of Carol van Dijk. Their landmark debut Palomine grew into a cult classic, and with a career spanning more than three decades, the band remains celebrated for their songwriting, enduring creativity, and dynamic live shows in the Netherlands and far beyond.

This moment ties in perfectly with the 2 Meter Sessions legacy: a special vinyl compilation capturing Bettie Serveert at their most direct and pure, featuring highlights from their 2 Meter Sessions recordings including songs from Palomine and later releases, offering a beautiful cross-section of different eras of the band.

Schedule: Saturday 11 April (Record Planet Music Zone)
14:15 – 14:30 Interview with Bettie Serveert (Jan Douwe Kroeske)
14:30 – 15:00 Live performance
Afterwards: Signing session in the Record Planet Music Zone

Make sure to arrive on time, grab a good spot, and experience Bettie Serveert up close, then meet the band and take home a signed record.
