Give the grooves a closer listen with Acoustic Solid

Record hunting has its own pace. There is another row to explore and always one more box worth checking. The Acoustic Solid Listening Party offers a reason to stop moving for a while and spend time with the music.

At the Acoustic Solid stand, presented by GVR Audio, Jan Douwe Kroeske hosts a listening session through the turntable and speaker system on display. It brings a shared listening moment into a weekend that otherwise gives you every excuse to keep searching.

Finding a record and playing it are different pleasures. At home, a sleeve comes off the shelf and a recording gets your attention. Here, that part of collecting happens at the fair, with other listeners close by. It is an opportunity to focus on the performance and talk about what you hear.

GVR Audio also introduces visitors to Acoustic Solid turntables. See the equipment the team has brought, discuss your own setup and connect the conversation about a system with the experience of hearing it. You do not need a shopping list of components to have a useful question about listening at home.

The Listening Party takes place around the Hall 7 terrace as part of the Record Planet Music Zone. Join us at the 63rd Mega Record & CD Fair on 14 and 15 November 2026 at the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch. Between the stage appearances and the record stands, leave room for a recording to hold your attention.
