Meet the record players behind the Philips Audio retro look
Once the record bag is full, the next decision happens at home. Which album goes on first, and what will you play it on? At the Hall 7 terrace, Philips Audio brings that second question into the fair.
The display features a selection of four turntables, ranging from an entry-level model and a mid-range player to a Fidelio turntable and the TAV9000. Seeing different approaches together gives visitors a practical starting point for thinking about how a record player will fit into everyday listening.
Retro styling is part of the appeal, alongside present-day ways to use the equipment. The TAV9000 combines record playback with Bluetooth and radio, with speakers built in. The more compact TAV3000 also brings vinyl and Bluetooth together in a player with its own stereo speakers.
A first-time buyer may want to consider size, placement and connections. Someone who already has a system might be thinking about a different room or another way to listen. Meeting the team allows you to explain what you have in mind and see the models at close range.
Visit Philips Audio at the Record Planet Music Zone during the 63rd Mega Record & CD Fair, on 14 and 15 November 2026 at the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch. You can spend the morning choosing records and part of the afternoon considering the place they will have at home.
