Revisit 1993 with Erwin Nyhoff of The Prodigal Sons
For listeners who remember The Prodigal Sons breaking through in the early 1990s, You Still Think can bring an entire period back into focus. This November, the voice behind that record joins the Record Planet Music Zone.
Erwin Nyhoff helped establish the band’s blend of blues and roots rock with the 1993 debut Wine of Life. Appearances at Pinkpop and Lowlands followed. At the 63rd Mega Record & CD Fair, the singer returns to that musical history in conversation with Jan Douwe Kroeske.
The interview in Hall 7 is followed by a short live performance. Hearing the musician talk and then play offers a different way into songs you may have known for decades. For anyone discovering The Prodigal Sons more recently, it provides a starting point beyond the record sleeve.
The band’s 1993 visit to 2 Meter Sessions also has a place in the weekend. Six recordings from that session are collected on vinyl and will be available at the Charly Record Store. The record gives you a studio performance to take home after hearing Nyhoff in person.
A signing follows his appearance, giving collectors a chance to add a personal connection to the music. Join us at the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch on 14 and 15 November 2026. Whether Wine of Life already has a place in your collection or you are about to hear it for the first time, there is a good reason to spend part of your fair day at the stage.
